Integrated Safety Barrier
FA ELBE 3/2.5 AWS is a safety device for people performing rail works in the construction site area. The barrier is equipped with an Automatic Warning System AWS, which is activated and deactivated by inductive rail contacts DSS. Depending on the needs, the DSS rail contacts can be connected by wire or wireless to the last slave device. Wireless transmission is performed between the DSS Control device and the Master RF device. The maximum distance between devices should not exceed 5km.
Acoustic warning devices in the system are slaves, while the light signals are equipped with the warning traverse barriers connected in series with the slave devices.
This system allows speed limits as follow:
· passenger trains till 250 km/h
· freight trains till 120 km/h
